Remembrance Day 2024
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM."
The Great Glen Crafters have lovingly fashioned this extraordinary tribute to honour all fallen service personnel.
The poppy cascade adorns St Cuthbert's Church in memory of those humans and creatures who lost their lives or loved ones in whatever theatre of war, foreign or domestic.
Bravo Crafters, a beautiful creative display to show our immense gratitude! Thank you from the whole village for all for your hard work, with special mention to Bob.
The Remembrance Day service will be held at St Cuthbert's Church on Sunday morning, 10th November, 10.50am followed by a parade along Church Road and Main Street to the Memorial Green where a short address will be given, and wreaths may be laid.
Everyone is welcome.
